Program

Breaking Ground Properties (Breaking Ground, LLC) sends text messages to tenants, rental applicants, and prospective renters about rental inquiries, showings, application status, rent reminders, and maintenance updates.

How you opt in

Our staff ask for your consent in person or by phone using this script: “May Breaking Ground Properties text you at this number about your rental inquiry, showings, application status, rent reminders, and maintenance updates? Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time. Consent is not a condition of renting.” We send texts only after you say yes, and we record your consent with the date and time.

Confirmation message

After you opt in, you’ll receive: “Breaking Ground Properties: You’re subscribed to rental and maintenance updates. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.”
